Who We Are

Our mission is first and foremost to aid, assist, protect and defend feral cats throughout the greater Fredericksburg, Virginia area, including the counties of Stafford and Spotsylvania and to: During the course of this work, there are times when, despite our best efforts, new kittens arrive. These kittens are removed and taken to the vet for checkups. They are tested for Feline Leukemina/FIV and parasites. They are given medical treatment as needed, and placed in a foster home. The kittens are then socialized and taken care of. The result is a disease/parasite free kitten who is well adjusted and ready to go to a new, permanent home

Adopting a friend

The adoption process begins when you contact us with interest in a kitten. We work hard to match kittens to the right person/environment. Arrangements are made for you to visit the kitten in it's foster home. If all goes well, we will make a brief home visit to make suggestions to help you get set up for your new addition, and to help the kitten make the transistion from foster home to your home. There is a reasonable adoption fee, and a life-care contract is required. None of the kittens we adopt are allowed to be de-clawed, ever, for any reason.* They must be indoor pets only and not allowed outdoors. If the kitten is too young to be spayed/neutered, you will agree to have that done at around 4-5 months of age. We can even help arrange for high quality, low-cost spay/neuter. We do require written proof of spay/neutering. We make a follow-up visit after the spay/neutering, just to make sure everything is going well for you and your kitten. We are always available to answer any questions or provide any help we can. *If you desire a kitten/cat that has been declawed, please check with your local animal shelter.

Come Visit Us!

We do not have a "store front" as all fostering is done in a home environment. To schedule an appointment to visit the kittens, please give us a call.
